Steaks on the Grill

Camping requires easy meals. And grilling steaks is probably the easiest meal with the biggest pay off. For a good steak, you want to flavor of the meat to shine through, so we don’t have too many ingredients. We focus on buying quality meat with a good marbling of fat and a quick cooking thickness. Remember thick steaks will take longer to cook than thinner cuts of steak.

  • 4 Beef chuck steaks or Ribeyes
  • Black Pepper, freshly ground
  • Garlic Powder, at least a 1TSP per steak
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Sea salt, light coating
  • Worcestershire Sauce

  1. Add your dry ingredients to the steak and press them in
  2. Stab your steaks with a fork to tenderize
  3. Add steaks to your sealable bag
  4. Add your Worcestershire sauce so all of the steaks are coated
  5. Remove excess air and close the bag and freeze
  6. Thaw steaks
  7. Heat your grill and add the contents of the bag
  8. Cook till a good medium
  9. Allow the steaks to rest and pair with a salad
