Camping requires easy meals. And grilling steaks is probably the easiest meal with the biggest pay off. For a good steak, you want to flavor of the meat to shine through, so we don’t have too many ingredients. We focus on buying quality meat with a good marbling of fat and a quick cooking thickness. Remember thick steaks will take longer to cook than thinner cuts of steak.
Ingredients:
- 4 Beef chuck steaks or Ribeyes
- Black Pepper, freshly ground
- Garlic Powder, at least a 1TSP per steak
- Red pepper flakes, to taste
- Sea salt, light coating
- Worcestershire Sauce
Directions:
- Add your dry ingredients to the steak and press them in
- Stab your steaks with a fork to tenderize
- Add steaks to your sealable bag
- Add your Worcestershire sauce so all of the steaks are coated
- Remove excess air and close the bag and freeze
- Thaw steaks
- Heat your grill and add the contents of the bag
- Cook till a good medium
- Allow the steaks to rest and pair with a salad
